Common Good City Farm

The Common Good City Farm is a jewel in LeDroit Park’s already illustrious crown. Common Good is an urban farm and education center growing food for low-income residents in Washington, DC and providing educational opportunities that help increase food security, improve health, and contribute to environmental sustainability.

Since 2007, Common Good City Farm has taught over 1000 DC residents in workshops, engaged over 1500 DC school children, and hosted over 2000 volunteers.  In 2010, Common Good City Farm provided over 6000 servings of fresh vegetables to low-income DC families. Learn more about their programs.

In May 2011, His Royal Highness, Prince Charles of England visited the farm to great media fanfare.
