Our Purpose & Mission
The purpose of the Civic Association is to provide a forum whereby residents, community businesses and corporate sponsors
can come together to discuss areas of common interest.
The purpose of the LeDroit Park Civic Association shall be to foster and encourage a strong sense of community within
LeDroit Park. In furtherance of this goal, the Association shall seek to do the following:
- develop a sense of pride through cooperation with various organizations within the community;
- encourage responsible citizenship through active participation in the community; and,
- develop and maintain a coordinated effort with any and all governmental agencies, both local and federal, for the purpose
of achieving common goals.

Meetings
Join us at our next meeting. Community Association meetings are a time for members to come together, socialize and discuss issues important to the neighborhood.
Guest speakers are often present to talk about topics of special concern.
While these meetings are open to the public, only members in good standing vote on agenda items. Civic Association Meetings
are held the 4th Tuesday of every month (except August and December) at 7:00 p.m. at the Florida Avenue Baptist Church, 623
Florida Avenue NW (rear entrance).
